Once I thought Dnipropetrovsk was hard to spell. Then I saw the names of some other Ukrainian cities and learned just how wrong I was...

I somewhat knew Kryvyi Rih, but not the exact spelling. I tried about 15 variations but only got as close as "Kryvyi Rhi".

You need to either accept Russian and Ukrainian spellings, or else stick to just one ... Odesa (Ukrainian) is not accepted, Nikolaev (Russian) is not accepted, but you accept Lvov/Lviv and Kiev/Kyiv and Kharkov/Kharkiv.

I have (sort of) proudly memorized the spelling of Dniprodzerzhynsk. I also wonder what Ukrainian Scrabble looks like. (OK, throw in 5 more Zs and take away half the vowels...)
