@bicyclerace: this quiz is much more complicated than i first envisaged. i actually searched for this, couldn't find it and so decided to make it. i only wrote indigenous because obviously there are second generation immigrants in the uk, who are uk citizens, who speak hundreds of different languages, and i wanted to omit these. how do i make it clear that i don't mean 'foreign' languages, but i don't mean old saxon, latin, norman, etc.? and i am tempted to bow to popular demand and put in manx but i am still a bit weary - like i said, if i put in manx, i should also put in french, guernésiais, sercquiais and jèrriais... |
