Neither Belgrade nor Beograd were accepted, and the same is true for Vienna and Wien.

bart122333: if you looked at the source you would see these cities do not have a population of over 1 million. There are various different statistics that state the cities have different populations, depending the area of the city and its surrounding conurbations that is included in the statistic, but i have provided the source for you to see what statistics i have used. I shall change the hamburg spelling and include rostov on don

Hey I like the quiz, especially the fact that only the cities count and not the metropolitan areas. One thing though, some of the Russian cities are not in Europe. So might it be better to exclude them? And the source probably doesn't take Turkey into account, but in my opinion Istanbul should be there. What do you think?

Novosibirsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg are in Asia. Please accept Kharkiv for Kharkov and Nizhniy Novgorod for Nizhny Novgorod.

I see what you mean about being in Asia, but other people would complain saying the source does not correspond to the quiz, i shall add in the notes that some of the Russian cities may not be classified as in Europe, though they are shown in the source and I shall add Istanbul now.

You should update your note for Turkey as well, since most of those cities are not in Europe either.

I know for a fact that Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Stockholm have more than 1 million citizens. And a lot of others that I think have more than 1 million too. There definitely is more than 42 anyway.
