| @JohnShade: Thanks. That's fine. I wasn't expecting it to make the main page. I just made this for fun. Although I DO have a quiz on the main page. It's called "NBA - Top 25" if you want to find it, give it a bad rating, and start bashing on it and finding all the terrible logic that obviously went through my idiotic brain when putting it together. But I still don't think my decision to only count Super Bowls is "wrong." I don't see how there can be a "wrong" decision on that regard. I'm not the president of sports awesomeness (although I can see where you might be confused) so this little quiz means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Although it amazes me that you got so worked up over it. And, just so you know, the baseball historians officially regard the "Modern Era of Baseball" as starting with the World Series, I threw in every Stanley Cup winner because, you know, their names are actually engraved on that trophy for all of eternity, and the NBA hasn't really changed its format since 1948 so there wasn't really a clean break there for a "modern era" distinction. (I know, I know, there are more teams now and longer series, but it seems like a natural extension of the preexisting system with the league's expansion and all.) The Super Bowl is clearly something different from the previous NFL championships, because, you know, the NFL actually calls it something different and starts numbering them from 1967. It just clearly seems like a different type of title. Anyway, I genuinely want to know, why do you even care? I've clearly, albeit unintentionally, ruined your day and I still can't figure out why... |
