	I'm sure this is self-explanatory, but who said the thief didn't cheat? You should probably state that the thief is separate from the cheaters. Like if someone "cheated" it means that they aren't the thief. Or that he didn't cheat. (Unless of course this isn't the case... haven't solved it yet).

	Okay... took it now, enjoyed it. Just a couple more nitpicks. 1: Clues that mention "the answer key" I take it refer to the thief, but technically don't all cheaters have the answer key? e.g. Teacher's Pet's clue could be saying the whole second row is innocent. 2: Artist's clue. It is unclear whether it is talking about the bookworm and drama queen individually, or the situation where both are innocent. i.e. what if one is innocent and the other isn't, are we supposed to rule that out? There is a difference between "they are BOTH innocent if and only if the salutatorian cheated" and "they are EACH innocent if and only if" meaning they HAVE to either both be innocent or both not be. Finally, 3: PC Female's clue should probably say "in both my diagonals", otherwise I wonder "which diagonal?" (but of course assume both).

	Nitpick 1: You're right. I'll edit that later. Nitpick 2: The operator AND, logistically, predicates that both ends of the logical statement must be true in order to return a true statement. (A and B) if and only if C. Nitpick 3: I tried to be semi-ambigious on purpose. I'll wait for others to chime in to see if it's unfair. Thanks for all your feedback, Zak!

	Class Clown's clue had me assuming only the Goth OR the Video Gamer could be a cheater, as in one or the other. But, they both are. Messed me up.

	I agree with Asteph re: Class Clowns Clue. In this context, "or" means one or the other but not both. Perhaps change the clue to be "At least one of the goth and the video gamer cheated" as the clue as it stands allows you to deduce that Goth is the thief, when you apply with bookworms clue.

	Interesting! I remember from logic class way back when that PvQ is only false when both P and Q are false. If everyone was really confused by it (note: that was my intention), I may change it. What says other players?

	@LoudmouthLee: I am aware in formal logic PvQ us only false when P is false and Q is false, however as the clue has been expressed in English, and not formal logic notation, then the word "or" means either not both. Also, ambiguity is not a good idea in a logic puzzle which should be about solving clues and not semantics.

	I agree with others about the "or" statement (forgot to mention that). Yes, I did take logic and I'm aware of the "or" operator meaning "at least one of". But when you're speaking in words and sentences (and in fact in all the logic games I've seen here on Sporcle), "or" generally means "only one of". Same with the "and" thing I commented on above, it wouldn't hurt to specify by adding the word "both". Just keep in mind that not everyone on this site has taken logic and learned about the technical operators and will make their deductions based on literal meanings of words, so its best to cover all the bases to make sure the sentence literally mean the same thing.

	Conditional statements especially are a big loophole in technical "logic". Like the statement "If Zak6009 died in sleep last night, he is taking your quiz right now and commenting on it" obviously is impossible and doesn't make sense, but the fact that the second part is true automatically makes that statement "true".

	@LoudmouthLee - "at least one of" is fine, as it will be slightly less clumsy than appending "or both" to the end. I was able to deduce Goth as the thief because I didn't have stud answered at the time. If goth was a cheat, that would mean their was 3 consecutive cheats and hence VG was a cheat, however that violated my interpretation of CC which said VG or Goth - hence my conclusion Goth was the thief.

	That makes sense. The clue for the Class Clown now reads: Either the goth cheated, the video gamer cheated, or they both cheated. Thank you all so much for your feedback! I was afraid of making it too "easy" for the discerning minds of Sporcle.

	This was really fun. I do think that it is a little confusing in that the thief has also, by definition, cheated. Is there a way to tweak the terms so that it is very clear when you mean something that could include the thief and cheaters and when not?

	both the quiz title and the directions say "other cheaters" which implies the thief is also a cheater. If you add a note in the directions that the thief is not a cheater, it removes any confusion. great quiz!

	I agree with the "other cheaters" deduction from the instructions. By saying "other cheaters" it automatically classifies the thief as a cheater. And you can't solve the puzzle if you assume (as I think most of us would) that the thief is also a cheater. Other than that, good puzzle.

	Why would the cheater go through all the work to steal the answer key and not even use it to cheat? Probably has a crush on a 'certain someone' they are sitting beside, and stole it for them.

	@serf_in_USA (good username btw!): Look again. We know from the Pothead's clue that "two people cheated in the first row". Both of the corners are already marked innocent. Following the soccer player's clue that the nerd is innocent unless the dork cheated - and that if the dork cheated, the nerd must be a cheat - there is no way for only one of them to be among the two cheaters in row one. It has to be either both of them, or neither. Since there's only one other unresolved character in that row, the teacher's pet, and having only one cheat would fail the Pothead clue test, the cheats must be the inseparable dork/nerd pair.
