| out of curiosity, why do you accept "abdul" for "abdul-jabbar"? i understand that there's only one abdul in the entire quiz, but isn't it like accepting "duck" for "duckworth"?
nice quiz, btw. i like the fact that it shows us how the league has evolved from talent-loaded squads in the 80s into a more level playing ground in 2000s. for more than two decades from 1977 to 1998 (except 1996), there has been at least one team with 3 players representing the franchise in every all-star game. but since then, it became a rarity... until 2005 when the suns sent 3 players to the all-star game.
interestingly, suns is the team with the most all-star trios that never won a championship. on the other hand, the spurs is the franchise with the most titles without ever having 3 all stars at the same time. |
