Very good quiz. Might want foreign aid as a bonus, just so people can see how little it really is; also accept "transfer payments" for the welfare category. Finally, Social Security is in deficit this year. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2010/03/social-security-goes-into-deficit/38019/

This is not subtly biased.

I'm curious, ihs_ac as to how you think this is biased. I had previously seen these numbers reported in other areas and they are factual. How does the plain reporting of fact constitute overt bias?

I'm scared but not surprised that education isn't on here.

Soar, education is funded mostly by State governments, costing over $1.3 Trillion per year--larger than any item on this quiz. It is the majority of most States' budgets, although the Federal Government does pay for $150 Billion of it. You really want the Feds to take over MORE of education?

Thedpr, I've fixed the SS comment; thanks. What transfer payments are you thinking of? Medicaid is the largest and it is already on the quiz separately.

Maybe accept "public assistance" for welfare.
