| I'd remove BoJ&Y, since every other song about more than one person accepts one last name as the answer. I'd also get rid of "Let Robeson Sing", since the person's last name is in the title. Still, a good quiz with lots of room for expansion. Some further suggestions: Roberta Flack "Killing Me Softly With His Song" (Don McLean), Pretenders "Back On The Chain Gang" (James Honeyman Scott), Puff Daddy "I'll Be Missing You" (Biggie Smalls), practically anything by Al Stewart (though "Joe The Georgian", about Josef Stalin, might work well), and perhaps the best of all: Toni Basil's "Mickey". When she redid Racey's "Kitty" and needed a boy's name to switch the gender, she went with her lifelong crush....the Monkees' Mickey Dolenz. |
