The dates are an interesting and challenging twist on this and made this a lot of fun. I'd take issue with only one thing, and that's the (?) after Oswald. Every official inquiry into JFK's assassination has concluded that Oswald was the shooter and the science backs up that conclusion. No offense to Oliver Stone and the fantasy world he created in his movie version, but I'd respectfully suggest taking the question mark out.

I agree with Hejman, and plus if you give Oswald the "?" then it turns out you should give one to Booth's dod:

I agree with @Hejman that the dates are an interesting twist, but have you considered replacing one of the date columns with the city the assassination took place in?

Bit of a nitpick: I believe the correct usage is "hanged".

Maybe the "hung" wasn't referring to the method of execution?

I find it very, very hard to believe that 20% of people spelled McKinley's assassin's name right.

This would have been a good quiz to publish next Tuesday.

@Wes_Mantooth This quiz does have a lot of replay value.

@Wes_Mantooth - Some people learn such facts. Also, the spelling is phonetic, if you're familiar with Slavic languages. Don't concern yourself so much with how others did, and focus on how well you did. You'll learn more in the long run!

The cities would be a good addition. How about the political affiliation of the assassins? Booth was a pro-Confederate, which I suppose would have made him a Democrat in his day. Guiteau was a Republican (the Stalwart branch), Czolgosz was an anarchist, and Oswald was at least a communist sympathizer. I suppose there's some room for debate on those, and maybe it's not unambiguously known the way a Sporcle question should be.
