if Sporcle ever publish this, it should be a mixture of the best (easiest/not impossible) ones from the 2 versions

My god, that was... that was genius. Alas, my knowledge of math truly let me down (clearly, the SAT scores and college education didn't mean much, eh?), as I only got four, but oh my lord, what a spectacular quiz.

And I agree, Legavrik- you should probably do a compilation quiz of some sort- the best from this, the best from the first one (which I just played), and maybe a couple of new ones. I don't think a "compilation quiz" is a thing that's often done, but hey, a quiz about song math isn't often done!
The "99 Problems" clue in the first game might be the most brilliant thing I've ever seen. Ever.

And my last comment: A good one to include for Part III might be Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You". While I've never actually listened to the song (as listening to Kelly Clarkson would make my brain bleed out of my ears), there could definitely be a mathematical bent to the title.

I rated the first one bad, but i've realised the more you play a quiz like this and begin to understand the answers it really is a lot of fun! good work! I think ill try the first again and give it a better rating.

I actually enjoy these quizzes more after I click give up and I get to see how clever the ones I missed were. I just wish I wasn't so dumb and could get them in the first place. Nice job.

lol @ saulmeister - I know what you mean. I managed 4/10 this time, a definite improvement on the first. But thats cos I just fiddled around with words that might mean the equation and happened to get some right - song 2 is the only one I actually knew.

I think I enjoyed this even more than the first. You can probably display the artists without fear of oversimplfying the quiz. I think you can even put the clues directly in the text with some special unicode characters such as those on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematical_HTML
{my world} where {U} ∉ {my world} ≡ ∅

Can you do anything with Smashing Pumpkin's "The End Is The Beginning of The End" or Barry White's "My First, My Last, You're My Everything"?

Got 6/10 this time which is much better than the other! Don't get the last one. Love the simplicity of the Blur clue among all the madness.
