The UK? Really? Were they born then then moved to Canada as children? Also, Illinois? As a Wisconsin Badger I'm insulted that Illinois is on this list and we are not.

I didn't see the word country because it wasn't capitalized like the others, and just assumed it was canada/USA :P

The players were born under the name Soviet Union, not Russia. Because otherwise it may not be on this list, given the number of players born in places like Latvia or Kazakhstan, but at the time under the nation of the Soviet Union. Same goes for Czech Republic and Slovakia - they were born under the name Czechoslovakia, not the latter. Even on official team rosters, they go by their birth certificate, which shows the old country name. So don't change those.

That Soviet Union/Russia thing may have to change soon, because we should soon be seeing a number of players born in the 1990s (i.e. today's 18 year old rookies would have been born after December 25, 1991)

Bbrutal. Russia obviously should be accepted, and the Czech Republic / Slovakia distinction needs to be made. If you're gonna take the time to make the quiz, do some research and do it right.

@OilFan: PEI also missed out. Got them all except for the UK (seriously, I don't think of it as a hockey country!)

Very good quiz. Though I'm slightly disappointed that Michigan is only third for states.
