You should accept singular forms and commonly accepted abbreviations of the unit also. "Customary" should be clarified so that it says "English". (English is the usual system in the US, but is not in the rest of the world, and there are other systems that are "customary" for some people).
The color of the answer/background should be changed so it is not so painful to read.

There are at least three units relating to light that I know of (and I am sure there are others), lux, lumen, and candela.
Temperature can also be measured in Kelvins which does not use the word degree. Force also has many other units in other systems including the pound (English) and the dyne (CGS) so the system should be specified.
Also, liter is liquid volume, solid volume is measured in cubic meters or cubic cms, etc.
In the English system, fluid ounce is a measure of volume and ounce is a measure of mass.
