Worst mistake the Knicks ever made - not resigning the X-Man and eventually getting that loser, Charles Smith!

No...the worst mistake the Knicks made was trading Ewing. They didn't want to spend all that money for the one year...so they trade him for Rice and Longley..their contracts are what turned into many longterm smaller contracts, like Shandon Anderson, that kept us over the cap for all these years!

Vote me down I don't care, it's a meaningful distinction. Opening Day is strictly baseball. Others have opening night or opening weekend or some such.
