| Unfortunately this is the type of quiz that gets a lot of complaints. We are all smart enough here to know better but it can be avoided with extra care from the quiz maker. I knew while I was writing it that Wood would not come up for the Good Son and that I would have to write Culkin to get it. Same with Jones and Broderick on the the Lion King. The trick is not having so many ambiguous ones. Yes one could argue that the Good Son was being ironic, but just because Culkin is the lead does not mean the title is meant for him. Wood was the Good Son, there is no arguing that, you can add Culkin as a safeguard but you can't write irony, sarcasm or what have you into a title. So I would just eliminate the ones that can have too many duplicates or add the duplicates as correct answers. Hell, one could argue that Jeffrey Irons is The Lion King also because he technically is for more of the film than either Broderick or Jones. And Jonathan Taylor Thomas, by the way, couldn't wait to be King, but never was. |
