I'm not sure whether it's the reason it's at the bottom of the stats… but DEE FIDEI should be DEE FIDEE, since it's the plural noun that John Francis Wade used.

This was fun! I only missed 5 of them, though I would have only missed 4, but I forgot how to spell "Wenceslas"

What's "Do They Know It's Christmas"? It's not a classic like the other 25 songs on the quiz. Also, I'd accept "O Come All Ye Faithful" for "Adeste Fideles"

^ I understand that the two songs are the same but O Come All Ye Faithful is a completely different set of letters so that's why it's not an acceptable answer.

I waver on whether the one song needs the parentheses. I know it's in the answer, but for awhile I thought maybe two songs had been entered on one line.

"I Saw Three Ships" sounds like it should be a Columbus Day Song. That's the only one I've never heard of lol.

A Christmas without Santa Claus is not fun. But a "Christmas Songs without Santa Claus" quiz sure is!

I like the quiz, but I always have bit of a peeve over songs like Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman, and Winter Wonderland being considered "Christmas" songs. There's no mention of or reference to Christmas, Santa Claus, or Jesus in any of them. Technically, they are just songs about winter. I don't consider them to be Christmas songs any more than I consider In the Good Old Summertime to be a song about US Independence Day.

Cecispanda. You're comment does make sense until you finish the line the title is in: I saw three ships come sailing in on Christmas Day in the morning.

O Come O Come Emmanuel is not a Christmas song, either. It's an Advent song. Fun quiz!

@beefy: 'christmas' songs don't have to directly refer to christmas or anything to do with christmas in order to be evocative of the holiday itself. regardless of the lyricists' intents/lyrical content, the fact that you only hear these songs during the few weeks leading up to christmas coupled with the fact that you immediately stop hearing them AFTER christmas is why they're referred to as 'christmas' songs. @joda: the latin title is the official title of the song.

Using a song with "Santa Claus" in the title and therefore removing it completely? Very tricky, LTH.....very tricky.

These modified song titles reflect the fate of our language under the cruel yoke of tyrannical Scando-Welsh rule. They'd leave the "L", though. Down with "Good" King Weel!

I'm surprised there were so many I was not familiar with. I probably know the songs, but not the titles. I should have had one more, but I could not spell the King's name.

I missed Carol of the Bells and I know it on the piano. I meant to go back and look for it. I could tell one of them ended in home for the holidays.

"RO OF HE BE" I know it doesn't QUITE fit, but I couldn't get "Number of the beast" out of my mind. Damn you and your christmas albums, iron maiden!

For some reason, I got mixed up and typed "Frosty the 13th." It didn't work, but it might be an awesome horror movie.
