Good quiz...fix the spelling on Reeve's first name. Also, it seems that Melinda Dillon was really Dreyfuss' co-star in Close Encounters, but I get it.

Louis Fletcher and Jack Nicholson as a "couple" LTH? You saucy, expectation-inverting dog!

Saucy? Expectation-inverting? Them's fightin' words! :) Yeah, I knew I'd get a comment on Jack & Louise and I considered changing the name of the quiz to Lead Actors of the 1970s but I've got a nice series going so I left the title. In my defense, the question at the top says 'lead actor and actress' so the two actors don't necessarily have to be romantically involved. |

Brooke Adams was a long time coming, but eventually I remembered her name. "Not Karen Allen" wasn't working ...

I kept putting Ann Reinking in for All That Jazz...I never thought over Jessica Lange as his mate but I suppose if we go for the deeper meaning she is his last "mate"

FYI--There is a Heartbreak Kid remake. Might want to specify that you mean the original. That is all.

djphob, the writer of the quiz already did specify he meant the original- in the title of the quiz.

I think that you should accept Ann Reinking for "All That Jazz" and Joel Gray (a much bigger star than Michael York) for "Cabaret." The teaser for the quiz suggests that the answers must play couples in the quiz, but the question is "Can you name the lead actor and actress in each of the following films from the 1970s?" The leads aren't necessarily a romantic couple. And certainly Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" weren't a couple.

I put in Melinda Dillon for "Close Encounters" and it took Teri Garr as the answer. Another vote for Ann Reinking in "All That Jazz".
