Fall on ice could be PLOP, and it fits with the next word.

FYI, Aron's last name is Ralston, not Halston.

Last ladder's definitely pushing it a bit. Got every answer apart from 70% of that last ladder. I've never heard of Tori Spelling, L. Ron Hubbard, Aron Ralston, or the phrase Ever and Anon. As for the bible book after joel, or years in spanish, you either know or you dont, and I didn't know. The rest of the quiz was perfect.

Really well made! It was so good I guessed it was by Flick (that's intended as a compliment, btw).

Most people think of Big Ben as a tower or a clock, not a bell.

True about Big Ben. But it is the name of the bell and most people are unaware. Good quiz.

@jakeroy, and now those people will learn that the name was originally given to the bell, not the tower!

very fun, but a true confidence builder. Results show that it was extremely easy... in large part to the length of quiz. Plenty of time to guess letters on the handful of toughies. re: Big Ben -- the correct answer should be what it is (Bell), not "what most people think! Good quiz...

I managed to get through the hardest part by misspelling a different Spelling.

It took me until the third word ladder to realize the first and last rungs in each ladder made a singer or group name. You think I could have figured that out from the title of the quiz...but NNOOOOOOOOO.

@Erod: true, but there is also a Brit-ism, a German-ism, a Canadian-ism, a couple of Spanish-isms, a French-ism...

I'm not a fan of the "This word in a different language" clues, but at least this only had one, so I can live with it.
