I was trying to think of songs and then I hit the dreaded supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.... luckily, it's spelled just like it sounds!

"If you want this choice position, have a cheery disposition, rosy cheeks, no warts, play games, all sorts, never be or cruel, never feed us castor..." Just had to prove to nobody that I can sing the whole damn thing. But I couldn't guess the title. Grrrrr. Fun game, though!

Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke together- it had to be a hit with two of the most talented people in history in it. Throw in a bit of Ed Wynn for good measure. Best live-action Disney movie ever? I'd say so.

So many of these I had no idea what the song was called. A wider range of title possibilities would be preferable.

I love this movie. I can sing Jane and Michael's advertisement song word for word, but I couldn't come up with its name. :)

It's fun for me to see this on the front page because it's the first quiz I ever made on Sporcle. If you take a look at the contribute date, Sept. 23, 2009, that was the day that the user section was launched. I remember logging on to Sporcle on that day and seeing the "Create" tab and thinking, "Hey, what's this?" The first thing I thought of was to make Mary Poppins songs because the Sound of Music version had been released a few weeks prior. http://www.sporcle.com/games/g/soundofmusicsongs
That was a looooong time ago in Sporcle years. Thank you, admins, for publishing this!

Of course, you can say it backwards, which is suoicodilaipxecitsiligarfilacrepus, but that’s going a bit far, don’t you think?

@sapphire_hart: Actually, listen closely and you'll hear that Mary's "backward" pronunciation is more or less "Dociousexpialilisticfragicalirupes". Indubitably!

I'll second @TL333s here. We wore out the soundtrack record growing up, but I still couldn't come up with "The Perfect Nanny" as the title of Jane and Michael's advertisement. Maybe add first lines for some of these? On the other hand, a lot of people taking the quiz seem to know the names, since that one scores higher than "Fidelity Fiduciary Bank" and "The Life I Lead," where the title of the song is part of the chorus.

I got supercalifragilisticexpialidocious right! My best friend had a shirt with that on it in second grade and we both memorized the song! LOL at the game note!
