@LaymansTerm: 'Casey at the Bat' is a famous poem from the 19th century about baseball (as you may have guessed from the title), and more generally about attachment to sports/fan involvement, heroism, etc. If you read the poem ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casey_at_the_bat#Text ), you may see why the last word is asked for here--the final line is pretty memorable IMO :) |
