Why is the answer column titled ''Semordnilap'' if none of these words are palindromes? A palindrome is a word spelled the same forwards and backwards. These are words that just make different words when spelled backwards. Other than that error, great quiz and I did not do very well.

Even though I don't agree with it, I have heard words that make different words when reversed (such as in this quiz) be called palindromes before.

Palindromes are words that can be spelled the same like "bob", "mom", "racecar", etc.

A semordnilap is defined as a word that spells a
different
word when spelled backwards. Thus, I used the correct term but I took it out because nobody knows what a semordnilap is.

Next time use words that aren't words in reverse. Abut - tuba, etc. Make the player actually spell a word backwards, not spell another word forwards.

Actually, I liked that they were real words when reversed. You don't catch on until the 3rd or 4th one, but it's entertaining.

I liked it too... It was entertaining, and I ended up reading the words backwards and pronouncing them VERY weirdly... I loved it :)

Tried two approaches: first time, I thought it would be faster not to try to figure out what the word was backwards, and just typed the letters. Next time, I identified the word and then typed it. The second way was much faster, for me.

I'm with Penny--I said the word backwards in my mind and it was easier for me to type that way.

Great quiz. Difficulty was excellent... I usually can finish these on the first try, but came up 1 second short. Feels much more rewarding to have gotten it the second time and belong to such a small group of 100%ers!

I thought this was going to be harder until I realized it was all palindromes. I still only got to 29 because I wanted to make "brag" into grab... not garb. :)

^ These aren't palindromes. Palindromes are words that are the same backwards and forwards -- like 'racecar' or 'kayak'. This list consists of words that create different words when spelled backwards. I didn't know this before making the quiz, but apparently these words are called semordnilaps.

@LTH I don't think @doctorwhofan883 thought they were palindromes. He merely spelled semordnilaps backwards. This was a great quiz though. Took me a minute to start reading in the correct direction afterwards!

I think this game is challenging because you can't copy and paste anything. You have to type the word backwards, which makes it also more challenging. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this quiz a 3 and a half. Or if it was easier, I would give it a 7. But I still give it a 3 and a half.

I think it's a bit odd that I seemed to find this one easier than typing words the right way round.
