Wow! I can't believe the low rate on the Elton John album. It was the first album to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, back in 1976. It's actually lower than what I thought was a really obscure Kink's album. Oh yeah, also Editor's Choice.

Grr! I kept guessing "here come the Sex Pistols" rather than "Here's the Sex Pistols".

Hard. Would have done much better if Radiohead was included.

You'd think more people would get some of these albums... only 50% or less for Led Zeppelin, Queen, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Wonder, etc. Kind of surprising.

Wow. just when I thought I couldn't be annoyed by Movie Dynamic anymore he has to mention Radiohead and ruin an otherwise fun quiz.

@Kwoj: While that is true (they're basically one hit wonders over here), I personally think part of the explanation for the results is the relative decline of relevance of the album. Looking at other 2000s albums, only 50 Cent did fairly well and I would imagine it also being the name of a movie helped. Even Speakerboxx, one of the best selling albums of the last decade, fared somewhat poorly.

@awix: "Ziggy Stardust" refers to Bowie's alter-ego, and the "Spiders from Mars" were his backing band.
