	@Juvo415: Yes, but Dylan was so impressed with Jimi's version that Dylan for years played it the way that Jimi had recorded it. From Dylan's Biograph Collection Notes: "I liked Jimi Hendrix's record of this and ever since he died I've being doing it that way.... Strange though how when I sing it I always feel it's a tribute to him in some kind of way."

	some of them i knew just couldn't get the whole title... i thought it was "signed, sealed and delivered" and single ladies couldn't think of what else would go after... much harder than it looks

	There were a few songs where one act wrote the song but another act had the bigger hit. To be consistent, I've tried to list both acts in those situations.

	I know it's a different song, but since there's a song by Billy Joel called Just the Way You Are, and since Bruno Mars is...annoying, to say the least, I think it should be Billy Joel as the artist.

	Though I didn't get the Clarkson or Bruno Mars songs or several others, I have no objection to them being on this list. It's a fascinating list ranging all over from Gene Autry to B.I.G to Bennett to Sex Pistols. My only frustration was that the Simon & Garfunkel song was too obscure for me.

	The Only Living Boy in New York had a more recent moment of noteriety on the soundtrack to Garden State about 10 years ago. It's the original track, not a cover - just pointing out that it's been relevant more recently than 40 years ago.
