Fun game. My inability to differentiate between the two Bill P's was not a hindrance in this game. Just guessed them both, although neither was in the movie I guessed them for!

@RachWho: yep, I guessed Bill Pullman for Twister first and got a bonus, that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

I think the remakes should be labled by year or the original actors should be accepted. The Thomas Crown affair was originally made (and better) with Steve Mcqueen and Faye Dunaway. Likewise, Nutty Professor was previously made with Jerry Lewis and Rob Roy has a previous incarnation as well. Adding a year is all that is needed. Still love the quiz though, but this just would help clear the confusion.

It would only accept Renee Zellweger with the accent, which I don't know how to do... I copied and pasted it.

@stevoreno But the quiz was 1990 movies. The originals were not from the 1990's, so there shouldnt be any confusion.

@missquin, you can enter last names.

More people should watch Kevin Smith's movies.

Interesting that of the 12 least guessed people, 9 are women. That says something about the lack of memorable female roles in Hollywood, doesn't it?

You accept Jones for Zeta-Jones but you do not accept Lewis for Day-Lewis. That is inconsistent.

You know you need to brush up on your 90's film knowledge when you guess Sting for Message in a Bottle.

Wow, I am a big fan of the lead actor in Forget Paris, but I never heard of it, and since it sounds like a European rom-com that would ill-suit his NYC shtick, maybe I am better off....

I like that both Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton appear in this quiz.

@moviegoer74: There is also Juliette Lewis in this quiz, thus the requirement to be more specific. :)
| moviegoer74: | Sep 11th, 2012 at 20:04 GMT | | 6 points |
^I know Juliette Lewis is on here. I don't believe it matters. Either you have to type both names of a hyphenated last name or you don't. I don't really care which, but I don't believe a quiz should treat hyphenated last names differently based upon what other answers are in the quiz (if that's truly the reason...I suspect it was just an oversight on LTH's part).

Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspppn are not a couple in Pleasantville. They play siblings. In the movie she dates Paul Walker.
| moviegoer74: | Sep 11th, 2012 at 22:45 GMT | | 5 points |
^That's true of several of the couples on the quiz. The question only asks for the lead actor and actress and the game note specifically advises that not all of the actors are romantically involved.

Interesting curve on the results graph. It's pretty evenly spread throughout the ranges.

@moviegoer74, I agree with you. I do my best to keep things consistent so "Jones" by itself is no longer accepted.

gtf - I ALWAYS get the two Bill Ps mixed up so it was very helpful that when I guessed the wrong one for Twister he showed up elsewhere :)

I guessed Paxton and Pullman without even looking.

60% can spell Zellweger? Could've sworn there was an i in there somewhere..

Sorry guys. I must have been paying no attention when I played the quiz. I totally missed the 90s part or just forgot. Complaint withdrawn.
