This is the first clip quiz I did without equal time intervals so I'm not sure how people will like it :S - anyways as always if I've made a mistake, please be so kind to point it out.

You had me at The Spoons.
Couple of minor corrections that shouldn't affect game play. You have an extra one letter article in the 0:52 song title. The song at 2:30 is missing a couple of apostrophes: *'*** **'***. (It's an old Cockney joke. "My wife went to the Caribbean." "*'*** **'***?" "No, she wanted to go." It explains the reggaesque rhythms in the song by a band not known for reggae.) Finally, you have an extra letter in each word of the song at 2:41.
But I loved the quiz. A lot.

And in case the above explanation was unclear, the title at 2:30 is supposed to be pronounced as a combination of "Did you make her" and "Jamaica".

Great quiz! Much better to have it themed like this than the random 'guess the songs' used before. I wish I'd done better though :P

I agree. The "na na na na" section of Hey Jude would be an obvious candidate for this quiz

A couple spelling things: it's "stutters," not "studders," and "Furtado," not "Furtardo" (although the latter might have been intentional, heh.) Overall, a really fun idea for a quiz!

Tis would've been now that I've seen how many people like this one I'm considering making a second one and if I do I'll make sure to include Hey Jude.

Great quiz. However, I would want these quizzes to accept the artist as an answer sometimes.

Maneater is one word. You should accept Singin' in the Rain.

Would've liked to hear the "ooowa-a-a-a" from Down with the Sickness or the "awooooo" from Werewolves of London. Hell, I would have killed to hear Tevye's "biddy biddy bum"s from If I Were a Rich Man (instead of Gwen Stefani's craptastic remake). Other than that, great quiz; you masterfully executed what was already a wildly original idea. Was happy to see The Offspring and Simon & Garfunkel on there.

A couple suggestions; The famous stutter in the Who's "My Generation," and the beat-box thing bridge in "Freak on a Leash" by KoRn.

What an odd combination of songs/bands I absolutely adore (the Stones, the Hives, Gene Kelly, BOC, Flight of the Conchords, Scatman John!) and songs/bands I despise (3OH!3, Black Eyed Peas, those "Moulin Rouge" girls). It's interesting to see what kinds of songs use this technique.
Unrelated, while this is a great idea, a bunch of the song titles and band names are off, and it upsets me.

Kicking222 Can you tell me what song titles and band names that are off - the only one that I thought there might be a problem with was Ballroom Blitz because I used the Misfits version (which I like so much more) but thought that I should give credit to the original... sorry if I messed up the names - I have a reputation to do that :(

Whoa, never noticed this before, but Lady Gaga totally stole the "blah glah blah" part from "Self-Esteem", the similarity is uncanny. Kudos for including Flight of the Conchords, but you should have done "Think About It" (What's wrong with the world today, blah blah da da dum di da today...). Awesome quiz though.

A couple more suggestions; 2:24-2:31 on "Smmoth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm, The 'Ding-ding-ding-dong-dong-ding-ding-dong-ding-dang' on "Around the World" by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur's famous "Woo Hoo!" on "Song 2," The scream at the end of the drum solo in the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again," The intro to "Believe" by The Bravery, and finally the humming after the first chorus in "Resistance" by Muse

Moulin Rouge isn't the artist, it's Christina Aguilera (spelling?), Mya, Lil' Kim, and Pink. But this is an awesome quiz! I was surprised MmmBop by Hanson wasn't on there though, lol. Sequel?
