| SPOILER ALERT: The problem with "vs" is that it's a very inconsistently used credit. Sometimes it's producer or remixer first (Mylo vs Miami Sound Machine), sometimes it's second (Camille Jones vs Fedde Le Grand), often times the second artist only appears as a sample of some of their earlier work (Eric Prydz vs [Pink] Floyd); there's scant few instances where the artists appear on an obviously equal footing, like the Sugababes vs Girls Aloud example. It's best summed up by Sex Bomb, by Tom Jones vs Mousse T AND Hot'N'Juicy, when Horny is credited to Mousse T VS Hot'N'Juicy. Ultimately, it came to affect only about three artists who were already comfortably on the list already, so I figured it was safe to leave the vs out as bonuses.
Pulling the +s makes sense; 200 characters wasn't enough space to explain what they were there for. |
