| In my opinion, Urbana OR Champaign should be acceptable for Illinois since the university is located in both cities. Second, is there any reason why you went with the CUNY system as New York STATE'S flagship school instead of the SUNY system (STATE university of new york)? The CUNY system has about 244,000 students where as the SUNY system has about 465,000 students. Also, the enrollment at CUNY City College is just under 16,000 and the enrollment at CUNY Hunter College is about 15,500 students. Those are the two CUNY colleges most commonly thought of. On the other hand, the enrollment at SUNY Albany is well over 18,000 students and SUNY Buffalo has over 28,000 students. Also, both SUNY Albany and SUNY Buffalo were established before CUNY City College and CUNY Hunter College. It seems to me that one of those SUNY schools would be the flagship school of New York State WAYYYY before any of the CUNY schools. |
