| You spelt rumour wrong |
 | KCS82: | Oct 29th, 2009 at 05:12 GMT | 4 points |
| I will accept the British spelling too. |

| zesty quiz! |
 | the_cgould: | Oct 29th, 2009 at 20:03 GMT | 6 points |
| maybe use Ubuntu for "U" or Xerox for "X"...else it's a matter of guessing the alphabet for the middle letter. |
 | mathy: | Oct 29th, 2009 at 22:50 GMT | 2 points |
| Is "zazz" really a word? Isn't it just short for pizazz? |
 | JayHankEdLyon: | Oct 31st, 2009 at 03:06 GMT | 0 points |
| Yeah, I think "Ziz" would be a better alternative (the Ziz being a birdlike alternative to the Leviathan and Behemoth.) |
 | Otacon: | Oct 31st, 2009 at 04:13 GMT | 6 points |
| how did I get 'qepiq' and not 'legal' I mean kjgflgkjd |
 | Pierrepont: | Nov 2nd, 2009 at 02:57 GMT | 0 points |
| How about Czech Republic presidents Havel and Klaus? (Vaclav) or the movie Zardoz with Sean Connery. |
 | Kaleb: | Nov 2nd, 2009 at 21:14 GMT | 2 points |
| good quiz! |
 | TimeAndTide: | Nov 4th, 2009 at 01:50 GMT | 2 points |
| *shakes fist at Pierrepont* I was about to suggest Vaclav and Zardoz!!! As a non-tennis-fan, I've never heard of Cilic Marin. Is he/she really all that famous? Perhaps "clinic" or "chaotic" or something like that would be preferable?? I agree with the_cgould about the three-letter ones. Guessing is how I got UHU, for example. You might want to use the Swahili word for "freedom" -- "uhuru". It's fairly well-known. |

| @Fawkes: 500% |
 | Craig_Hodges: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:24 GMT | 1 point |
| Considering the disputed nature of East Jerusalem, it might be a bit inflamatory to call all Jerusalem dwellers "Israeli." |

| xanax has 5 letters, sporcle gods. i pray that thee shalt change thy number in the clue |
 | GPLeChuck: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:40 GMT | 11 points |
| You should accept "energise" too. The quiz is meant to be in English after all... |
 | ammizny: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:42 GMT | 6 points |
| How about "lawful" counting for the L clue? |
 | Anonymous42: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:43 GMT | 15 points |
| @ammizny: "Lawful" doesn't have 5 letters. |
 | GPLeChuck: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:43 GMT | 20 points |
| And how about "failproof" for f? |
 | captainjuice: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:44 GMT | 9 points |
| I would never have guessed 'rumor' from the clue. Also, on GP's note, shouldn't 'rumour' count as well? |
 | spum66: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:45 GMT | 62 points |
| Reeeallly stretched for that J one, eh? |
 | kidcanada: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:47 GMT | 9 points |
| "I" would be better off to use "Tel Aviv Dweller". |
 | redsxfenway: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 08:54 GMT | 1 point |
| @captain: rumour has too many letters. |
 | MrPsychic: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:07 GMT | 7 points |
| Thank you Star Trek for Uhuru |
 | BamaRainbow: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:07 GMT | 4 points |
| @BaddaBing: Trek fans would know. (Just for the record, Roddenberry took the Swahili word for "freedom" and "feminized" it to create the Enterprise's communications officer.) |

 | shawnkay: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:24 GMT | 0 points |
| 55% got truant? I guess people just don't use that word around here. I'm embarrassed for not knowing that one :P |
 | marpocky: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:28 GMT | 5 points |
| The only other one I could find for J was the southern Polish city of Jastrzebie-Zdroj, which everybody knows would be soooooo much easier, but alas we already have a Polish city in the quiz so we'll stick with Messrs. James and Jackson. |

| good quiz, some of those were really hard. i guessed fullproof and failproof and still nothing! very creative, and dont listen to those naysayers, i dont hear anyone coming up with a better j q or u answer! |
 | laura_belle: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:41 GMT | -2 points |
| I'll third failproof. Tried it like 5 times. |
 | maniacalclown: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:42 GMT | 4 points |
| Being a huge fan of MST3K and bad movies in general, I was always going to get Zardoz. As a huge Star Trek fan, however, I am ashamed for not getting uhuru. |

| nvm I see they have to start and begin with the same letter, did the whole quiz and didnt even notice |
 | Rifsun: | Nov 5th, 2009 at 09:48 GMT | 4 points |
| I'm surprised Zardoz is not more well known. It is a movie with great special effects, realistic acting, a coherent plot and many important messages that remain relevant to this day. Oh wait, it wasn't any of those things. |
