Muggsy Bogues should be a bonus for being over a full foot under the height.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 17:48 GMT
I'm a lifelong Sonics fan and I missed Payton. I dumb
Oct 19th, 2009 at 18:00 GMT
It would be good if the heights were listed as well.

Oct 19th, 2009 at 18:24 GMT
Barkley was listed at 6'6"
Oct 19th, 2009 at 19:02 GMT
Big ups, World B. Free! Also, this quiz makes me want to wear my Muggsy jersey (best ten bucks I ever spent at a thrift shop). Good job, JuanJacobo.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 19:11 GMT
Got just 8 and two bonuses, Webb and Bogues, how many are there?
Oct 19th, 2009 at 19:27 GMT
@Kicking22 I have a Muggsy jersey from what I was younger, but its a kid's small, haha.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 19:31 GMT
John Havlicek? what was his listed height, i never would have guessed its over 6'5''

Maybe it's just me, but the word "Career" might have made this more clear (I tried to come up with season leaders). Good quiz, though. BTW...Barkley and Adrian Dantley were both probably 6 ft 4, but were consistently listed higher.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 19:50 GMT
My NBA Sporcle quiz strategy of guessing "Malone" comes through once again...
Oct 19th, 2009 at 21:14 GMT
How about Boykins as a bonus too? He's the second shortest ever after bogues.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 21:51 GMT
Barkley was 6'4", as was Adrian Dantley. Common knowledge but I understand that you have to make the quiz from the 'official' heights. Makes you marvel at Chuck's hops/rebounding ability though considering he weighed a ton. The round mound of rebound indeed.
Oct 19th, 2009 at 22:50 GMT
Inch for inch and pound for pound Iverson is the best scorer of all time
Oct 20th, 2009 at 00:33 GMT
bogues and webb were bonuses but no nate robinson hes like 5-8, nash and kidd are pretty short too
Oct 20th, 2009 at 00:54 GMT
For anyone who thought they may be close. Steve Nash - 13438. Jason Kidd - 15318.
Oct 20th, 2009 at 03:06 GMT
john havlicek was like 6' 8", dude.
Oct 20th, 2009 at 03:19 GMT
This list is incomplete without Barkley. Anyone who has a passing knowledge of basketball knows he was under 6'5.
Oct 20th, 2009 at 04:22 GMT
@Havlorech, I also being a Sonics fan missed the Glove. My therapist says I need to stopped repressing all those memories but it's still too soon for me.
Dec 9th, 2009 at 13:10 GMT
i didn't realize jeff malone was up there...he's like the only non-HOF on that list....well, he and world b free, and speaking of w.b.f. one of his ex girl was shot and killed 12-7-2009

How about a quiz with players under six feet?
Feb 25th, 2010 at 23:31 GMT
Mar 6th, 2010 at 19:13 GMT
Shows how much the game has changed. Only 3 of these guys have played this century.
Mar 13th, 2010 at 21:04 GMT
15 and 2 bonuses
May 22nd, 2010 at 07:02 GMT
The 'game has changed' comment is kind of silly. Break them down by the decade they started in, and there's a slightly bigger number in the 60s, but after that it's pretty consistent, up to and including players beginning in the 90s - which also aren't done yet (Nash, Kidd, etc). How about we just - wait and see. The game has never been the province of little men, in any era, and today's era is actually less center-dominated than previous eras. Good, short scorers are just anomalous. They pop up where they pop up, it has nothing whatever to do with 'the game changing'.

Bob Cousy played from 1950-1963. He came back for 5 games while coaching in 1970. He should probably be listed as "1950-1963, 1970"

A quiz about short players and I forget Tiny Archibald

How in the hell did I miss ALLEN IVERSON. Man, I need to practice.
Jun 15th, 2011 at 19:07 GMT
@hilarity: key word: listed. Barkley should be a bonus answer at least
Jan 18th, 2012 at 20:03 GMT
Those are some pretty darn good small bball players
May 24th, 2012 at 07:06 GMT
Surprised Kidd, Frazier and Guerin didn't make the cut.
Nov 21st, 2012 at 18:30 GMT
As of today Kidd has 17137 and Nash has 16658. Both would be on here if it was updated.
Dec 16th, 2012 at 04:59 GMT
Jason Terry, who's at 16738, would beat out Nash.
Dec 16th, 2012 at 05:00 GMT
And Iverson's been retired for quite a while now
Feb 10th, 2013 at 00:25 GMT
