on another note, the fifa world rankings are the biggest farce in football. portugal, after scraping into the latest world cup through the playoffs, are suddenly recognised as the third best team in the world. the same goes for argentina, who've jumped above england (who won every game except for one in qualifying and scored more goals than any other team in europe). it's utterly ridiculous. |
