The absence of the US is ridiculous... Most of Wikileaks documents are about the US infiltrating in other countries..

You should change to "geopolitical entities" instead of deleting Palestine. Strict definitions of countries that don't reflect quizzes' sources are absurd.

Fun quiz but you need to fix it. Most importantly, it's currently unsourced so add that. Secondly, this quiz could be much more interesting if the countries were in order of how many times they were mentioned, along with how many times they were mentioned in another column. Currenly 2 globes, but could be a 4

adrian96... only in your Zionist dreams is that the case. More than 100 Countries recognize Palestine as an independent country. All the countries of Africa and Asia including India, China, and Russia, Eastern Europe (including Poland, Greece), and Latin America (Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, etc). Only matter of time before Palestine becomes an independent state.

@faraznaeem: I for one am no Zionist; I strongly oppose most Israeli policy regarding the Palestinian territories, and I hope you’re right that it’s only a matter of time until independence is achieved. However — for a quiz site, it’s very useful to have one general standard list and stick to it, and on this issue, there’s no way to make a choice that everybody will agree with. So until independence comes, I think we can live with having Palestine left off Sporcle quizzes; frankly, this isn’t the biggest problem Palestine currently has to face…

Why would Bolivia get that much attention and not Chile, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela? And how can they do that much talking and not include Kyrgyzstan? ;/

Great quiz, especially now with source citation and ordering by number of mentions.
@faraznaeem - Adrian96's comment was juvenile and hateful, but please, don't attribute that to his "Zionist dreams", but rather to his hatefulness. I, like most of the Israelis I know, support the creation of a Palestinian state with which we want to coexist in peace. Zionism does not mean being anti-Palestinian or supporting the occupation. It simply means that we want to be independent, much like our Palestinian neighbours. Like all human populations, some among our ranks are right-wing fascists or religious fundamentalists. But that doesn't mean our current government is representative of Zionism any more than Hamas is a legitimate representation of all Palestinian nationalists. Peace.

Presumably Bolivia gets the added attention because its leader is a friend of Chavez and critical of the U.S.

Israel gave Palestine the chance to earn a little respect by giving them the West Bank and Gaza in 2005 by exiting their troops and their Israeli inhabitants, not necessarily to become their own country but just letting them live in those areas without Israeli involvement, but the Palestinians were very ungrateful and just came back throwing rocks and bombing the Israeli troops whether they had their land or not, they don't deserve to be their own country

This really isn't a good place to discuss the validity of Palestine's claim to statehood. Excellent quiz, it really gives some insight into what worries the U.S. in current affairs - I was quite surprised that France and Spain, for example, appeared above Pakistan, Iraq, Israel, Saudi Arabia and North Korea. Troubled by the possibility of a European financial crisis?
