| OK, this is clearly inaccurate. http://www.dps.state.ak.us/Sorweb/sorweb.aspx claims that there are 2,634 sex offenders living in Alaska; http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/02000.html gives the population of Alaska as 686,293; that gives .377%, not .625% as the quiz (and its source) claims. http://doj.mt.gov/svor/reportoffenderlocation.asp claims that there are 4,743 in Montana; http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/30000.html gives the population as 967,440, which gives .49% of the population, much higher than the .392% in this quiz. Similarly, Utah's is .239, not .219...those are the ones where I could easily get the numbers, and all of them are wrong. Not a good sign. |
