it's rose and ruth DEWITT bukater and the captain was edward JOHN smith not james.

Rose DeWitt Bukater, Ruth DeWitt Bukater are the true names of the characters. Cal's name is spelled Caledon Hockley. According to imdb.com, it is listed as Captain Edward James Smith, but wikipedia.org states his name as Captain Edward John Smith.

It's a pity those of us who actually know our stuff have to suffer the those who don't. Gave up on this very quickly when I realised the creator was ingnorant/illiterate!

This quiz wanted really specific answers and contained several mistakes... Cal Hockely's last name should have been Hockley, right?
