	Voldemort and Nagini should both count. Voldemort whenever Harry shares his mind, especially when he remembers the night he lost his powers, and Nagini when Harry sees the attack on Mr. Weasley.

	I'm pretty sure Ron and Hermione get little blips in Philosopher's Stone, though I'd have to check. I know that one is during the Quidditch match in which Harry almost falls off his broom.

	What about Dumbledore, Slughorn, Hokey, and that Ministry worker where their memories are used in the Pensieve? The readers are LITERALLY in their thoughts. Also Snape because we see into his thoughts when he is trying to teach Harry occlumency.

	good idea but poorly executed. In addition to those mentioned above: - Mcgonagall in Chapter 1 of PS. Seriously how can you miss the first one in the series? - Ron, when the horcrux locket makes an evil harry and hermione to taunt him - A bunch of penseive experiences, if you want to count these.

	@sox_fan1468927: When Harry watches their memories in the Pensieve, you do not get into the characters' thoughts, you just watch their memories. You're still given Harry's thoughts about what he sees. For example, when Riddle is walking toward where Hagrid is to "turn him in", you are not given Riddle's thoughts that he is about to frame Hagrid, you are given Harry's thoughts that he is confused and shocked that Hagrid is Slytherin's Heir. And @jb90: The reader is never given McGonagall's thoughts, and he did not miss the first one, he got Vernon Dursley. And @JoeFish, great idea, great quiz.

	It took me a while to figure out what you meant, but I think he means where the narration is clearly from someone Else's perspective (like the first chapter of goblet of fire, where the whole chapter is the old man frank bryce) The times where Harry is observing, we are still Harry. Maybe you should write a blurb in the description to clarify

	Shouldn't Dumbledore and Snape be in this too, from the Penseive? And maybe also Bob Ogden seeing as Harry and Dumbledore use the penseive to go into his mind in book 6...?

	Good idea! Clearly you should make it clearer what exactly you're looking for, though. "Narration" might be a better word than "directed thought" if you want to avoid pensieve complications. That said, if you are going to use the others, then the basilisk and the snake from the zoo probably also count in that way.

	It's not necessary, but it'd be really cool if you accepted "Major" for the fourth one. (Half-Blood Prince takes place in 1996.)

	shouldn't snape/dumbledore/slughorn count because of the pensieve? and i agree that the basilisk should count because harry speaks parseltongue and hears its voice. =]

	@ Janeelessthan3: i agree about snape/dumbledore/slughorn but for the basilisk we hear loads of voices (i.e. hermione, ron, mrs. weasley, and just about all the other characters) so it shouldn't really count. @JoeFish: i thought this was a good and well executed idea!

	i dont think pensieve thoughts should count because when Harry is following snape he doesnt share snape's thoughts, i.e. harry is still described as worried, we don't know snapes thoughts... which is the quiz title

	I find it odd that when you click on the source link and find the spot that mentions the information necessary for the quiz, the answers are not the same. The link lists 5 characters (HP, VD, FB, NM, and MPM) and yet this quiz has six answers while omitting one from the source and includes two that aren't present in the link. I do agree with the inclusion of LV on this quiz.
