| I have to agree with crazyguy on this one. Cameron and Mitchell are only partners, since they have never officially been married. Cameron is most definitely part of the family in every sense of the word, but he doesn't technically or legally hold the title of son-in-law or brother-in-law. (The "in-law" part of the title literally states that he is recognized by the law as being officially and lawfully married, which he technically isn't.) Unless, of course, you consider civil unions to also be considered in-laws. If that's the case, I don't believe that they ever mentioned on the show if the two of them ever entered a civil union. |
