	There are a LOT more than four words in the "Engligh" language that end in "-ous." Some examples include: gaseous, jealous, hazardous, glorious, populous, frivolous, salacious, joyous, luscious, etc. I don't have a dictionary handy, but I would be willing to bet there are at least ~300 of them. Not four.

	Perhaps the "ends in -ous" clue ought to be "ends in -dous" instead? And several other one-syllable words are as long as "screeched": "strengths", "stretched", "scratched"... Fun quiz, but a few rough edges at the moment!

	There are no English words without vowels. The one thing you must have learned from Sporcle by now is that Y is at times a vowel and at times a consonant. If y were truly a consonant in the words you cited, they would be unpronounceable. There should also be no apostrophe in "its value" either before or after the s.

	Since at least one of the answers (Maine) is a proper noun, leave it capitalized, and de-capitalize all non-proper answers. It'll look better that way. Rewrite the clue for Maine to read something like "The only US state with a one-syllable name" ("whos" should be "whose", and that isn't right anyway, because Maine is not a person). Difficult and interesting quiz, but like other commenters have mentioned, a bit rough around the edges.

	I think an argument can be made for "Go." being the shortest sentence in the English language.

	Generally a fun quiz however the "oldest word in the English language" question should be eliminated. First of all, definitively proving the oldest word is impossible. Secondly the only "sources" I see stating that town is that word unsurprisingly have absolutely no credible research to back up that claim. Third, the research that has been done in this area point to words like "I", "we", "who", "two" or "three" being among the oldest. Finally, OED Online places the first available citation of the word town (with archaic spelling however) c725. Using the advanced search option to look at words by their first cited date places a large number of words at 725 along with town as well as a considerable number c700, some of which ("frost" for instance) not only predate town, but have even retained their spelling.
