	Some of these films take place in multiple states, but only the state most prominent in the movie is used (except for Fargo, but hopefully you'll understand my intentions.)

	Why the bad ratings, I thought this was pretty neat. A few of the movies probably just randomly happened in those states, but most seemed to have a real connection, or really happened in the state, or you could just kind of tell (westerns, prep schools, coal mining, etc).

	Great idea, maybe a bit too much time, and I could imagine you could find a better choice than one that has St. Louis in the title though. I also would change Fargo to the state it actually takes place in, but maybe there are no other options. Overall, great quiz though.

	The random ones are states that have very few movies in them. The biggest problems were Delaware, Arkansas, Missouri and Utah. Lots of movies happened a LITTLE in those places, or even a bit, but not enough to warrant being "prominently" in the state.

	tj, that's exactly it: there's like, no other movies in Fargo's state (my reference in the first comment) and the same goes for St Louis.

	I don't think Fargo should be listed for North Dakota...I've always kind of thought that a major part of the film's irony was the fact that it takes place almost entirely in Minnesota even though it's called Fargo. That's kinda the point.

	Well, are you going to do something as arbitrary as vote down a comment or are you going to make a suggestion? Because personally I'd love to have more appropriate answers than Fargo or Meet Me in St. Louis, and trust me, I looked. If you're happy with just messing with my "e-cred" or whatever instead of trying to improve anything, go nuts.

	Leprechaun and The Messengers are both set in North Dakota. If you change it, keep Juno for MN since pretty much everyone knows the irony of Fargo anyway. Part of American Splendor takes place in Delaware...haven't seen it so don't know if it's enough to count in your criteria. As for Missouri, the only other one I can think of would be Tom Sawyer.

	Yeah, I used Wikipedia too. Just double-checked and, yes Leprechaun does take overtly take place there. Also, I didn't use Tom Sawyer because it's just a shorthand book title of a really famous book (that's more famous as a book than a film) but I've just remembered Tom and Huck.

	I would lower the time limit. After I got the 11 I knew I had enough time to guess every single state on the other ones and get 100%, and still had a minute or two left over.

	On behalf of my entire home state, I'd like to give a huge "gee thanks a lot" for picking Deliverance as the movie associated with Georgia. (Though objectively, it's a pretty good choice. I probably would have personally used Driving Miss Daisy, mostly because I really love the movie.)

	OK, this is not a whine (well, maybe a little) but genuine curiosity: I made this quiz in reverse last month (given the state, actor, year, guess the movie). Got about 80 hits to your thousand+. I don't begrudge you, JayH, I know how much work it took, you did a great job, and it was fun to do it in reverse. But does the order really make a tenfold difference? Comments are tapering off, but I'd appreciate a "yes it does" (up) or "no it doesn't" (down) vote from whoever happens by.

	I searched for "state" and "movie" or "film" before making this quiz and I didn't see yours; in any case, sorry about that. I think the ordering definitely matters because it keeps people from just guessing famous movies and I can't see any negative side effects of having it in forced order. I'm not gonna vote because I'm biased on the matter, but that's my two cents.
