I like the way you've set this so that you don't lose as soon as you make a mistake. Very good.

I am quite surprised that there is no 100% on Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City... I mean come on, the capitals have the name of their countries in it!

It's Tirana. Also, Netherlands without 'the', that's how it is here on Sporcle.

The capital of Albania is Tirana, not Tirane.

^ I think it's both, Tirana in English and Tirane (with an umlaut over the e, if I remember well) in Albanian. But as all the other names are in English (no Roma, Lisboa, Moskva, Wien, Praha, etc.), you're right: for the sake of consistency "Tirana" should appear.

Thanks for the publish sporcle!
On the Tirane/Tirana issue, I agree that "Tirana" is more correct, but I was just using the spelling that the sporcle "Capitals of Europe" quiz uses.

Good quiz! I like this type of quiz as a diversion from the standard, but I think the other version has its value as well. For the other, you have to learn how to spell the capital, which is a good thing.

Liking the new quiz format. So much faster especially when I can't spell the capital of Iceland.

To me, it plays a lot like the game show Winning Lines. In fact, it might be neat if the qualities of the American version of the game (with limited numbers of passes, missed questions, and even limitations on the number and duration of pauses) could be implemented.

Yep, I've flown to all the European capitals, so that was easy for me. The Eastern capitals were much more difficult. Jam1, can you make one like this for the US States? Let me score 100% easily, please??

Only thing I don't like about this new quiz format- I saw "Luxembourg" and for no reason at all thought "Liechtenstein", right in the middle of clicking Vaduz I realized it, but couldn't correct it. But overall it's absolutely awesome.

Having to think of all these capitals is awesome. I know a good amount of them, but still had to spend ages going through the choices, and generally getting it wrong. A great workout for memory.

My memory of world capitals is definitely told to the old map formats. A lot of the countries- especially the Balkans and former USSR- I had to picture the map in my head with the capital written for it.

Great use of the new quiz format! Also interesting would be to do the reverse: clicking from a list of capitals as each country is shown.

@youngglenfarg Wales and Scotland (And England too for that matter) come under the United Kingdom as their country, so London would be their capital city. As to the quiz, great fun. Was left with five eastern european capitals, think my heart stopped with each capital click! Great use of the new system. On to converting the rest of the quizzes!
