	Significantly harder than any of the other ones I've done. If I'm not mistaken, the Persian empire controlled Cyprus at one point while allowing it's independance, not sure if this merits a secret answer or not.

	@mattzc7: Actually quite a lot of empires have controlled Cyprus at some point. I only included a selection of empires and put the years so you knew which ones I was looking for. Putting the other empires as bonuses was a good idea though, I'll think about adding it.

	um dude just a correction to your quiz since most my family actually lives in cyprus.. the independence day is on the 1st of october not the 16th of august.. other than that very good quiz

	Independence from the United Kingdom on August 16, 1960, but Cyprus Independence Day is commonly celebrated on October 1. The flag colour is copper not orange. The parties are Dysy, Dhko and Akel if you want to include the actually greek names. Way more heritage sites than the ones offered. Kyrenia mountains are in TRNC, maybe shouldn't be included? Fairly sure Larnaca is third largest city..

	Great quiz! I agree it would be good to accept DISY/DHSY, DHKO/DIKO and AKEL for the political parties - I didn't know their names in English.
