That doesn't look anything like a Kit Kat.

I was really convinced that the Kit Kat was Dr. Pepper.

You can see "Schweppes" on the logo.

Matt, you are obviously not. I must admit I thought Benetton was more common in USA than it turns out to be, so I can see why that one is overly difficult. I'll consider changing it to something more known.

Great quiz! I love the Subway one. Which makes me wonder why we don't have it like that here! So much cooler. =)

Maybe add Ice Tea for Lipton. Because I first typed Ice Tea and it didn't accept it so I put Lipton Ice Tea and still not accepted so gave up.

I spent a month in Qatar this summer and was amazed when I saw how much the Arabic version of the 7-Up logo looks like the original.

Seeing the Arabic Subway sign for the first time, and being able to read the script (so yes I know this quiz isn't for me), I'm struck by how cleverly done it is. It preserves the look of the original sign very closely, even including the "S" shape, while still being perfectly readable right-to-left as "Subway" in Arabic script.

Lipton is distributed as dry tea (not bottled) in most of the world, so I wouldn't change that. Dang, I only missed 6. I am scarred by advertising. Nice quiz!

I love the Froot Loops and the Chili's ones. Is there a reason for the asterisk after krispy kreme? If there is you should say why, if not you should remove it.
JackTorrance

Yeah, the asterisk is there because the Krispy Kreme logo replaced a previous Benetton logo that nobody got, so the stats won't be accurate for that one.

Benetton was popular in the US for a very brief period in the 80s, but not since then. I think that Kit Kat label is also used in other countries besides the US. (I thought it was Dr. Pepper, too.)

Does it say something about advertising and consumerism when you're able to read Arabic but don't even need to try and read the words because the logos are so familiar?

hey Yankee. That's what I though...... you are ignorant!! Not all 1 billion or how many ever middle eastern humans attacked our country. It is the language that they use. So go open up a book and read and quit being ignorant. It is people like you who make our country look like a bunch of fools who do not know anything outside of their race and religion. Your a failure in life!!! Thats why you use the internet to comment on a a language on a sporcle quiz? Hahaha. L-O-S-E-R + DEREK JETER = YankeesRul6969.

This is totally how I learned to read Arabic. I had a book with Arabic versions of car logos, I was so excited when I figured out "Jeep".

Yes I think KitKat has a different wrapper branding in the USA for some reason, but to anyone in Europe it's one of the most easily recognisable of these

@Mxxs: http://www.hersheys.com/products/details/kitkat/index.asp?name=KIT%20KAT%20Milk%20Chocolate @tbh: KitKat is Hershey, which is American, so actually ours is right and it's rebranded in the rest of the world.

@lalalala. Actually you're wrong. KitKat is British, it was first made by the British company Rowntree's and is now made by the Swiss company Nestle. The Hershey version produced in the USA appeared long after KitKat was first prodcued in the UK, and Hershey had to get a license from Rowntree's to allow them to make it in the US.
