| Actually Wikipedia does not say that Hong Kong is a country, quite the opposite. The word "country" only appears in the article as "country parks" and the "one country, two systems" policy, which clearly states that China and Hong Kong are one country despite differences in currency and suchlike. Anyway, since there is always some debatable cases of whether some entity is a country or not, Sporcle, like other sources or sites, has to decide upon their own conventions, and here HK and Macao are not countries in their own right (on the other hand, Taiwan is). |
