It's quite straightforward until you get past Germany - then you have countries piled on top of each other from North to South. Impossible to work it out!

Since Vatican City is entirely surrounded by Rome, wouldn't there be parts of Rome to the west of Vatican City?

HOLY ****, I would never have thought that Rome was east of San Marino, but it is, barely. Per Wikipedia: Rome is 12 degrees 30 minutes East; The City of San Marino is 12 degrees 26 minutes East a difference of about 7.5 kilometers or 4.7 miles.

turkey and russia are euroasian countries but cyprus is just asian!
