	JBNiemtzow, I hardly think you could call Thome a Dud. '04 was a great year too. Plus he never played for us in 2006, and the only reason we didn't keep him was because of a young stud named howard. I don't know much about the other stuff so i won't even bother commenting

	Jim Thome is perhaps one of the most important reasons that the Phillies ended up winning the World Series in 2008. When the Phillies signed him, it was the first time in ages that they had gone out and signed a high priced free agent and signaled the end of their penny-pinching days of the 90s and early 2000s. Also, Dikembe Mutombo was a huge part of the Sixers run to the 2001 Finals, Lindros, while not being the next Wayne Gretzky, still lead the team to the Cup Finals in the mid 90s. I guess the others I can't argue too much, though Geoff Jenkins did have a huge RBI in Game 5 of the 2008 World Series.

	Phantom- what you said about thome made no sense. What JMac said, i understand. Lindros was the number 1 pick overall, he was a dud because we hated him and he was no where near to as good as his nickname. We traded peter forsberg 2 number 1 picks, 15 million dollars and 3 other players for him. Dikembe ****ed us over against shaq

	Thome- Not a dud, fairly productive 3 seasons, plus he brough a winning attitude to philly. Mutombo- Made a couple allstar games in Philly and won DPOY...plus, we gave up nxt to nothing for him and he helpd us get to NBA finals. Lindros- As much as I hate him and his attitude, he still accomplished quite a bit in orange in black. He wasn't what he shouldve been, but still won a Hart trophy (MVP) and a lot of playoff series. Jenkins and Mitchell- Dud is probably fitting, but they both made among the biggest plays in the histories of their respective franchises. Plus, your dates are all off. Also, consider adding Chris Gratton and Derian Hatcher (Flyers), Danny Tartabull and Lance Parrish (Phillies) and, despite 1 very productive season, Jevon Kearse (Eagles).

	Thome wasn't a dud. He had 47 HR & 131 RBI in 2003 and 42 HR and 105 RBI in 2004. He was injured in 2005 and Howard came in and won rookie of the year. Since Howard couldn't be moved to left field, they had to deal Thome. He became the odd man out not because of his play but because of Howard's. And I'm iffy about Lindros too. He averaged 1.36 points per game with the Flyers which is about 111-112 points over 82 games. He was plagued by injury and Scott Stevens but he was actually a great player.
