| I like what you are driving at here, but it's questionable, IMO, to call Canada, Australia and South Africa dependencies and lump them with British colonies after the Balfour Declaration of 1926 (http://foundingdocs.gov.au/resources/transcripts/cth11_doc_1926.pdf). Also, I recognize your source splits them out, but administratively, Algeria was a constituent part of France in 1928, and, for example, Upper Volta and French Sudan were both part of French West Africa in 1928. Still, like I said, good job! |
