	Some alternate answers for a few of them would be nice. I think you could leave out "American" for the first and fourth wars on the list, as most folks only know them that way.

	Good idea for a quiz! A few things, though. As the question is "name the major 'wars' fought", accept the part without "war" at the end, i.e. "American Civil" and "Spanish-American". As you did for the Vietnam War, for instance. Also, grouping the 2003 Iraq War into the "War on Terror" (a term that is no longer used, certainly by the USA and UK), is highly controversial. Perhaps separate the 2003 Iraq War and the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan, as they are/were distinct conflicts.

	How do you define "major"? Also, the Cold War was not a war and it is incorrect to list it here. Politically significant, for sure, but not an actual war.

	Also, isn't it possible to view the Korean and Vietnam wars as proxy wars of the Cold War due to the fact that they were fought by the US due to its anti-communism?

	I also don't understand why you wouldn't give 1917 and 1941 as the opening dates for the two world wars.

	I knew the starting dates for the World Wars would cause confusion. I put the starting dates of the actual wars in the box, but I placed asterisks saying that that wasn't the year US involvement began.

	The US was participating in WWII well before 1941. The US sent pilots to england and provided logistical support to both England and the USSR.

	Its the official year. They had very limited participation up until Pearl Harbor. Roosevelt wanted to do as much as he could to keep the US out of the war. And plus, the USSR wasn't part of the Allies until Operation Barbarossa, which began in mid-1941, just months before Pearl Harbor, so to say we were helping the Soviets at all before then is completly wrong.

	If we're doing US wars, you should say 1917-1918 and 1941-1945 for the World Wars.

	Some suggestions to include: The First and Second Barbary Wars, the Yugoslav War, the Filipino-American War. Also please accept "War on Terror" and "American Revolution."
