The award was created in 1956, so you can't have guys like Feller who played a majority of their career before that unless you subtract their pre-1956 wins.

I was actually thinking about leaving Feller out, but since he did pitch in 1956, I chose to add him. Oh well, if it's that big of a deal, I'll omit him.

Interesting list--lots of effective workhorses and some surprises. I'm one of the 17% who did not know that Ryan never won one.

As old as he was, I'm pretty sure Don Sutton didn't start pitching in 1888.

guessed Schilling and Brown near the end. Brown was always hurt and Schilling wasn't ever greater than the Unit.
