	I like the challenge to this. But the fact that you typed Tallahassee wrong, which made me try for way too long to figure out what the next one was, makes me want to rate this quiz with negative 8 globes.

	Very difficult to work from the bottom up. It would be nice to jump around but I get the fact you want this to be difficult. The beginning was real hard and as soon as I was getting to bigger cities I ran out of time. Like the idea though.

	I'll disagree with the above. This quiz has been made many times as is, and you are asking us to go in order. Considering the other versions are much less time, I think it's more than fair to have us go in order.

	@park022: There are reasons why there doesn't seem to be a correlation between capital population and state population. State capitals were often positioned to be in the geographic center of the state or the population center of the state. Most state capitals are in fact located very near the population center of their states (Alaska, California, Nevada, Wyoming, and New York, being the major exceptions). When some of those capitals were placed they actually were much closer to the population center of their states (in particular California and Florida). Consider how difficult it was when these capitals were established for people who lived in the state to travel to the capital. Because of a tradition of physiocracy in the US it was also considered good to separate the capital from the largest city in the state so the largest city wouldn't dominate the state's politics (more than it's going to naturally by reason of having the largest population). It was intended to reduce the corruption and influence of large cities and lessen the domination of large cities over rural residents of the state, and of industry over agriculture. Also big cities tended to be located on rivers which were sometimes the boundaries between states, and consequently they were located on the periphery of the state rather than nearer its geographical center. For many of these and other reasons big cities where mostly not favored when locating capitals in the states.
