| Yeah, that's one stupid list. I mean, what's their definition of indie? This looks like a shortlist to songs some **** with terrible taste thinks are credible. Is NME aimed at recently divorced 50 year olds? Oasis? I mean, how "indie" can you be after selling 70 million albums? And the song selections...I don't know the other bands half as well, but if you want to represent well, anything about the band Pixies with "Monkey", you must've only heard these two songs. And even then are they ranked in the wrong order.
I know that for a song to be considered an anthem, it can't be obscure or anything, but what indie crowd would hail these songs as their anthems? Haha! |
