Should give a source, define what you mean by outsourcing (i.e. transferring production facilities, hiring IT workers, callcenters, etc.), and make it clear that you mean outsourced from the US (I'm assuming that's right).

Definitely need a source. I'm a little dubious about a definition of "outsourcing" that includes the transfer of jobs to other first-world countries.

Actually, most jobs that have been outsourced over the last 30/40 years when the practice really began have been to first world countries. Companies continue to outsource there--only recently did our the so-called "third world" countries take up American businesses. That said, a source is definitely needed.
