| Yeah, but the good thing is that by year, with the exception of the few years that are heavily populated on the list (such as 1994 or 2007, which each have six films on the Top 250), change is rather rare. For example, The Dark Knight is the top rated movie of 2008 at #6. The next film from 2008 is Wall-E, which is ranked #43. Since they have both been released and had their fanfare, it is highly, highly unlikely that Wall-E will jump 37 spots and overtake The Dark Knight, as it would have to raise its average score by 0.4, which is a huge thing to do as far as an IMDB rating is concerned. But I do know what you mean. The extra column displaying the ranks on the side will be largely out of date in a month from now, so I'll probably update them. |
