There are two schools that go by miami that have had relatively equivalent sucess over the full span of history, so I allow, only Miami fl,miami hurricanes, university of miami, and the u. If you think this not fair to force a discrete answer, please let me know

Miami needs to be accepted.

Yeah, you definitely need to accept "Miami" seeing as Miami (OH) isn't even on this list anyway.

Alright, I looked back at some published quizzes, and based on precedence, I have allowed "Miami" alone as an answer.

You'd think that living in San Diego, with my wife being a student at SDSU, that I would have gotten that one...they need to emphasize that more with the football program. "We aren't very good now, but we won 25 in a row back in the 60's"

Mr. Roboto and colinc28: count me among those people who got the Quakers trying to type in the Nittany Lions. 3 Ivy schools - pretty interesting (although they mostly play each other so it was probably bound to happen especially 100 plus years ago. Also, I've seen some pretty serious trash talking here (and some not so serious), but how bad do you have to be to be deleted by the administrator. Yikes. Do I want to know?

Ivy league schools dominated before 1900 just because there were hardly any other football programs.

How did 17.4% of sporclers miss the record-holders? I'd expect that out of the normal population, but sporclers? Wow.

@georgeburdell- my source is the official NCAA record book; if you look at page 108, you will see that GT is not on the official list for winning streaks. You can also see that GT went 31-0-2 over the course of 1914-18 and 29-0-2 over 1950-53, but that is on a different list.

I got Penn because I knew they were one of the first undefeated college football teams. LOL.
